As promised, Keyshia Cole has released her new record, “Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away)” which is the second record to be released from her new album which is expected to be released this August.
“Next Time” is the follow up to her previously released record, “Rick James” which has features from Juicy J. “Next Thing” is a free-style which see’s Keyshia speaking on how she feels about her husband cheating on her within their own home, within their own bed. Keyshia has spoken about the making of the record with Fuse TV and said:
“It’s about being in a relationship, experiencing the downs of the relationship and not wanting to go there again, of course. It’s also about giving your heart away and allowing somebody to be able to be that close to you where they can hurt you. It’s sort of a ballad, like the ‘Trust’ record that I did with Monica, but without the extra female. I actually had ‘Trust’ on the album before I got a female on it and I ended up throwing her on there. But it’s the same process with this one.”
This song nearly brought a tear to my eye, so I can guarantee that this will also upset other Keyshia Cole fans and just might make you very angry with her husband, Daniel.

We haven’t heard new material from Keyshia Cole since 2012 when she released her fifth studio album, Woman To Woman. However, Keyshia hasn’t been idle. As a a matter of fact, she has been busy working on her new album and upcoming mixtape and has surprised us by releasing a freestyle of Chris Brown’s new single “Loyal”.
The cover of Chris Brown’s is a freestyle and features Sean Kingston and Lil’ Wayne. The track is said to be dedicated to Keyshia’s husband, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson. For all those who are out of the loop, the couple are separated at the moment. They’re not officially divorced, however; Daniel made headlines a couple months ago when he took to Instagram and posted a picture with him and a stripper in a strip club. Within the track Keyshia does highlight that he has had sex with another female, but we’ll have to wait to see if it’s true. Keyshia has removed “Gibson” out her name on Twitter and Instagram.

Without any further delay, listen to “Loyal” below:
Keyshia has weighed all the way in on Daniel! If he really has slept with another female, then he has lost a lot of respect from a lot of people. On the other hand, I’m glad that Keyshia is venting her anger within the studio! If this is a freestyle, we’re definitely looking forward to her mixtape within it’s entirely! We’re feeling this Keyshia, these nigga’s ain’t loyal!
